So right now my friend on discord isn’t answering me so ima ask y’all. Should I learn Hungarian or Italian, I’ve already started both of them, but I would like to stick with one. Which one should I choose? Just say Hungarian or Italian, don’t include a reason.
Italian
BTW I’m just gonna start doing polls on the forums…
There used to be a polling feature but I’m pretty sure it’s broken, I think you could still use a Microsoft teams form or something to do a poll.
I am the polling feature!
Same vibes
Twin that’ll be me one day. Trust.
Alright! Made my choice! Italian!
I’d say Italian if you’re only learning one of them, since it’s easier to learn from English and there are more resources for learning it, as well it being fairly similar to Spanish, if you know any.
I don’t speak Spanish, but I do speak a little German, but German is a really hard language.
Cool, I too know a little, but it’s been a long time since I’ve learnt any and I didn’t get too far, but I remember a bit. Japanese has kinda replaced German for me, but I think I need to restart German.
The only Japanese I know are things like “Onii-Chan” and “Senpai” but that’s just to piss my best friend off while we play WT (he’s the reason I learned some German)
I actually have one and a beard irl, but I did shave a while back so they’re growing again!
If you value your sanity, you won’t try learning Hungarian.
I learned a little (like very little) hard but nothing like German imo.
German is hard because of the die, der, das articles and how little sense they make. Hungarian is hard because of the 18 cases.
I hated the Die, Der, Das, Den, Dem, and Zum! It was so annoying! Hopefully Italian isn’t like that! And how could I forget the ein’s and eine’s, and it didn’t stop there! Everything had a gender!!! And every just about every word had another version of it! Du? NIEN! Es ist “dich”! Mein? Nien! Du bist eine mädchen! Es ist “meine” für sie! It just pissed me off so much (I also couldn’t and still can’t roll my R’s or any other letters when speaking)! Maybe one day I’ll retune to it and learn it all.
Yeesh, why couldn’t people just make a single word and say “yeah that works” instead of it having to change in every sentence because of one detail.
