and yes they are human, the bots attack like crazy, if they were bots the game would be over in 5 minutes, here we face a huge problem the allied playerbase in normandy, it is no longer interested in playing, if it sees that it cannot win: desert or start to camp, really in these conditions you can no longer play, for both sides
This fully reflects how imbalanced the weapons of the two sides of Normandy, so that not many players are willing to play the US military. On the other hand, even if the US military are players, not robots, I believe that most people will be low-level players using Springfield rifles and M5A1s.So they should really allow custom PVE, otherwise the US military is the most difficult R&D line in the game to upgrade
Then even if the U.S. military is at full level, except for the players driving the P47, I don’t think there is much fun. Very bad bazooka rocket launcher, the M2 carbine that can only fight in close quarters, and the Thomson submachine gun that can only fight in close quarters. All U.S. tanks that will be killed by leopards.
really, playing with bots gives more satisfaction
i can tell you since i mostly use m2s and m1 carbines is that if you mount them up, they become decent LMGs
Mainly because many times there is no chance to put up the weapon. And the Germans are really too powerful.
oh yeah for the most part they are, US gets some good stuff but has some major disadvantages, but just simply going prone on the ground while mostly get rid of the recoil
I think the M2 carbine can only be used for close combat, mainly because its sight is too poor. Although it is much better now than in the past, in actual combat I feel that when shooting with it, it is basically like a blind man. It is difficult to see the target clearly and can only blindly shoot in the direction of the target. On the other hand, its bullet distribution does not seem to be very good.
i do see a good amount of success with m2 in cqc, i mostly play there anyways, but yeah it’s not great past 20 or so meters because it’s sights and recoil
I think the biggest problem with US military weapons is that they are too extreme. If the Garand rifle is used, it lacks close combat capability. Use the M2 carbine, then you lose the ability to fight at medium and long distances. This is very embarrassing, so I have been considering whether to unlock the dual-weapon slot for the US infantry to ensure full-range combat capability, but I am also worried that the infantry can be equipped with Johnson machine guns in the future
Jesus f***ing Christ even I wasn’t so bad when started playing this game.
