Huge balance swings

I would like to know why for some reason a faction from time to time gets a huge advantage over the other, for instance, in the Normandy campaing Allies used to win almost every match and now it’s the other way around, making it almost unplayable as Allied foces since they get overwhelmed almost instatly regardless wether they are defending or attacking

Just depends on how many people are playing each side at any given time - whichever side has only a few people queuing for it gets screwed.

Same in all campaigns, although some sides are unpopular for longer periods - eg right now Soviets Berlin are taking a hammering because (apparently) people are grinding Axis to get the FG II before the change.

As far as why they change reinforcement count returns and capture speed, SUPPOSEDLY its because of popularity of one faction or another. Which the result was one side often being players, and the other side bots.
Unfortunately, doing their “balancing” in this way just pushes players to play one side more that the other anyways simply because its now easier to win on that side.
(I have noted in the past that I GREATLY disagree with this system. Also, it only takes into account popularities on PC, but not on console, so Console is often times REALLY out of whack due to the changes.)

I’ve seen pretty much the exact opposite since they introduced paratroopers. Allies win majority of games. Primarily this has to do with just how OP paratroopers are for offense though, and Allies have more instances of offense than defense on the Normandy campaign.
