Question above, my brain cannot find out how to use the MG squad to place heavy MG. I have the Tech unlocked btw

Use engineer’s hammer. It’s on the 12h of building wheel.

You have to put an engineer in your squad and then you can build HMGs.

Now you have to pay up to add engineers inside your mg squads, if you haven’t previously chosen them

Ahhh F that explains it. Yeah luckily I didnt fully research the MG Squad yet. Thanks guys!

Anyway i add that every machinegunner squad can build it and all event and premium machinegunner squad can build HMG withaut need research and can add 1 enginer for build it if the squad dont have it as default
