I guess many of you are tired to have 100 kills in objective, while rest of team has 3 or 5, shooting from safely 100m behind objective. Seems this developers hate teamwork and they love kill kill kill with non sense (i just dont get wihy they dont make objectiveless maps), thats why they promote bombers, tanks, and kills out of objective… but there is a solution…
Start to write “i will burn anyone behind objective”, go and troll campers with flamethrowers for 5 min, lough about them (they cant do anything about it) and tell them if they want be safe they should be close to objective or in front. And you will see how they start to go objective. I tried in 2 rounds and worked 100%. we lost but amazing game with people triying to defend.
Finall this game can be fun.
They could learn from Battlefront2, that you could have x5 times more kills than second, if you dont do objective you dont get score, so people get incentive to that, but i guess it is not their style
One thing i don’t understand is this playerbase. I’m often wondering if they are real players or bots. In the end of match half of the team have about 10-15 (sometimes even ridiculous number like 6-8) kills and 10 or more squads lost, all this while only 2-3 good players are carying the team. Explain someone please what I have to do whole invasion match to get 10 kills and 10 squads lost. I must be blindfolded then, playing with joystick or car simulator wheel and even then a player don’t have to fire a single shot during whole invasion match and just rush the objective and let bots make kills, since 10-20 is usually the amount they can kill during the match without player interfering,especially if they have Bolt action rifles or mg’s.
Let’s not forget that Enlisted being f2p may contribute, since at anytime some players could even be people who never touched an FPS before and are giving it a try without any actual “combat experience”.
easy to tell - the bots are actually doing sensible stuff. It’s been a while since I started playing this game so I’ve forgotten it this exists or not, but maybe implement the following changes to try and flatten the idiot curve:
Force all new players to go through a training camp so that they understand the game objectives and how to handle grenades, mines, tanks, planes, arty and spotting.
Increase the experience gain for fighting in the objective area. There’s been a few matches where I didn’t rake up high kills because I was defending points from being taken which contributed to victory but apart from personal satisfaction it didn’t do much for progression as far as I know.
One thing always happen, when the strategic point is capturing by enermys, over 1/2 of the team still camping around the point but no one try to get in and stop the cap🤦, sometimes I thought they even don’t know they can stop or slow down the capping by just entering the cap zone…
Dude, but thats human nature, people think in themselves, not in group. Problem is if you promote with score and rewards that attitude. For example, if you put a marker, you are making your team easy “steal your medals”. If you are wining a game, put markers just go agains your score, doesnt help. They should put assistance on marker kills to promote markers. Or as in BF2, they could make 10 times more score a kill inside a caping enemy than out of objective. Or simply give score for every second you spend on objective.
But if developers promote individuality, they will get that, i just point with this post that with flamethrowers you can force your team to go objetive, try it dude
Last 3 in your team (9, 11, 12) seem to be Enlisted bots, interestingly in opponent team #11 does not, so there’s at least one bot squad better than a player in that team. (It still can be someone developing his own AI to play this game, but nickname is registered.)
No point to focus objectives when you get more XP just getting kills and assist.
Quite sure that my contribution for that battle was higher than my team first especially when every cap zone was inside building.
Built many rally points and was there to capture 5 zones but still got 1k less XP than guy who flew whole battle in plane.
Agree absolutely that fighting inside objective area/capturing points should give extra reward. But people who are getting a lot of kills still should be rewarded as always. It’s work of the team, for example, if i’m taking 70% of enemy squad out with mounted MG from distance, while it hasn’t reached objective jet, im doing a lot of favour for my team, same with plane bomb multi kills, it’s like clearing space before for team so infantry players have less enemy resistance to reach objective on time.
Of course players who should get least reward are the ones who neither fight inside objective areas nor getting a lot of kills, basically the ones who are spending time on map borders , doing hell knows what, except engineers as they still can build useful anti-tank structures and plant some mines before hand.
WHile in this one, 110 kills, 89 on objective, (close to 90%), just 5,2K battlescore. This game promote my 1st game, wheere i ignored objective and i just kill kill kill, while other game, one of best i did as i carried the whole team (not by killing, by objecitve) and i had terrrible score This game promotes individuality
As the other guy said., you can build all spawnpoints for team you want, make all markers you want, defend objecive or simply wait there all you want, a bomber run will get 10 times more score than you
Dude you are comparing a tank main battle and a infantry main battle. But yes, now the xp gain most focus on kills.
I was talking about those just camping behind the CP and ignore the capping enermys(when defence) or not getting in the CP(when attack), not tanks and planes.
I am starting to think that the playerbase dont enjoy that kind of gamemodes, ( I know I don’t)
Pushing a small cramped capture zone, to slaugther or get slaughtered. the game needs bigger capture zones.
and a different way to play the objectives. now it is just run & gun
