Implementing 0-+ will at least double the time waiting to play the game. how to implement it without doing that simple make join any faction the only choice. remove join Japan, join German, Join USSR, join US. Implementing join any faction divides the qs by 4. but i want to play germany br4 vs br4 us or ussr and pc only. sure you can with a tenth of the current user base as the game stops getting new updates in maintenance mode.
I think it would be better if we were given the option to equip one of each BR for each nation as we unlock them. Then we could tick off the ones we would accept to play.
Fx. if I would like to play Germany and had unlocked as far as BR 5 I could tick off and build an army in BR1, BR2 and BR3 putting in squads and weapons that suits each BR.
When I click PLAY it will search for others than look for games in those 3 BR’s and set up a battle.
I don’t think people should be forced to play a nation they don’t like.
i dont think people should be forced into long wait times because people want to play br0-+ but people keep asking for it
if you want more qs in one way you have to remove them in another way
what the other choice to remove qs
combine 1/2 3/4 into 1 q each so we would have
br 1 2 3
Acceptable by whom? You? All this would achieve is a significant rise in desertions as people get a match with an assigned unwanted faction. At that point might as well remove desertion punishment, otherwise it feels like handcuffing players and enforcing playing under a penalty, without much of a choice on the player’s side.
I play what I feel or gun I want to enjoy. I don’t cherrypick maps or modes (only Large Conquest) or team composition (PC/Console amount), but if I wanted to play a Winny on Soviets and you threw me into match as Japanese without my say-so, I’d either be unmotivated/straight up leave.
You can have unpopular ideas/methods to solve the BR 0+/- issue, however the one’s restricting the player’s freedom should always come last.
This might have some more potential as it’s definitely more player friendly, however the balancing between individual BRs is just too messy and would require some work put in to make it succeed and not screw things up.
