With the obsolescence of the random weapon orders and subsequently the ability to acquire pistols it is my suggestion that all pistols be placed mid way or later in the campaign trail for roughly 150-180k XP each.
This addition to the campaign grind will be an enjoyable new lease on life giving players something to strive towards.
Detpacks should be placed in the campaign trail as well and cost 1 silver order each.

Would you care to explain why lengthening the grind is a bad thing? People like having goals to achieve.
I think they did a great job by making grinding soldiers out take roughly 4x as long as it used to, giving them the game an added longevity.

Whether they acknowledge it or not it’s a subconscious psychological driver in all gamers. Once the grind is complete the motivation to play plummets instantly.
that’s sort of true. but there’s literally 8 separate campaign line that you can play…and more to come in the future. So changing something significant just because this reason is ridiculous.

the hook to keep players in campaigns should be fun gameplay, not grind. grind is an inferior substitute for fun gameplay.

Trolol this is probably exactly what they’ll do. You forgot to add the new price of medkits for just 1 silver each. Got to squeeze those F2Ps as much as we can. We should also remove all those free det packs and medkits from new squads too.
