How to clear NVidia DX Cache

This is detailed instructions on how to clear the NVidia Direct X cache:

Disable Cache: Open NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Shader Cache Size, set to Disabled, and click Apply.

Delete Cache Files (Method 1 - Direct):

Press Windows Key + R, type %localappdata%, and hit Enter.

Navigate to the NVIDIA folder.

Delete all files within DXCache and GLCache.

Note: Skip files currently in use.

Delete Cache Files (Method 2 - Alternative Location):

Go to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\NVIDIA Corporation\NV_Cache and delete its contents.

Clear DirectX Cache: Open Start, search for Disk Cleanup, select the C: drive, check DirectX Shader Cache, and click OK.

Re-enable Cache: Return to NVIDIA Control Panel > Shader Cache Size, set it to Driver Default or a specific size (e.g., 10GB or Unlimited). I picked unlimited

Update drivers (if applicable)

Restart PC: Restart your computer to start building new, clean shaders.

I do, but you should explain others why is good idea do this

Does this include mix-matched icons in the ui? Example: a tommy gun has the icon of a soviet rifle or pants or something? Happens when switching back and forth between hangar and practice mode usually. Harmless though.

I think this is purely a server-side issue. If something goes wrong, I recommend Alt + F4 and a restart. Sometimes the servers act up, especially lately. Since 2021, I barely even pay attention to such ‘little things’ anymore.

Ah, I run into that issue all the time so though it was worth asking.

Per your main post, I only notice stuttering with ray tracing and prefer to play without it anyway. Ultra everything but medium reflections because I dislike the slow motion / constantly morphing reflections the high setting causes.

Will try clearing cache regardless. Thanks.
