I mean still some ideas are good, but some maybe impractical or ineffective.
I really agree with this concept in this quote, for a multiplayer game, some problem produced by player really have no optimum solution. Also different preference (of factions) of players in different parts of the world and unevenly disturbed skill level, which could be the most serious reason of unbalancing in enlisted, is also not so easy to fix. There is still balancing problem despite there is rating based matchmaking in War Thunder, because average skill for players of different nations are not equalised, so that dilemma still exists: Should devs balance games by equipment performance (win ratio unbalanced, less skilled side win less) or balance by statistics data (difficulty unbalanced, more skilled side more difficult)?
In the future, the best solution for the demand of this article can be achieved by give more different game mode like War Thunder (e.g., Simulator, Realistic battle, Arcade), but now because of limited player count, to allow some of them be achieved in a improved custom games platform is the more practical solution.
I’ve clearly touched a sore spot with my words, glad to have inspired you
But the Breda idea is perfect
If instead of hiding ranks, spoofing player names, and penalizing players for quitting sides which only have bots in them, the developers would balance the maps and would remove garbage game modes, and also delte rewards for ranks, so that players would not feel forced to join the side which always wins.
I agree with all except:
This is needed.
this
This is likely due to serious unbalancing when defenders are much more skilled and well equipped than attackers, give defenders limited reinforcement could stop this, but in this case the attackers are still likely not going to make any progress in attacking.
I like it.
There absolutely should be some award for staying alive. It would add an element to the game to reward good players.
They don’t, they’re just using sound. Sound is what AI’s react the most to.
Ah yes they are all little daredevils
