How I think AI should work in buildings

Using my high tech software and my awesome drawing skills I have made the first point on D-day. The first drawing is how AI currently acts in buildings.

There is a glaring flaw with this. The bots are not facing the points of entry so when enemies do come through they don’t have enough time to react and die.

I have a solution to this. Bots should take into account where the entry points/ visible points of a building as shown in my amazing drawing.

In this drawing almost all the bots that are in the main area of the bunker now face the hole which is where the most enemies will come from. The bot that is the door hallway now is facing the door and not away from it. Then the last bot looks into the machine gun area since that is a visible point where people can see through.

I think this could help out bots in buildings. Thoughts?

I think they’ll work to make the AI more like this in the future.

I’d also like to see a feature where you can point at the wall of a building and command them to spread out over the entire building. Currently you can only point at a floor when inside the building and they’ll try to hold that area. But this would allow you to tell them to spread out over the whole building, mark the first floor and they hold there, or mark the second floor and hold there.

Maybe they’ll introduce an order to change AI facing, soy you can aim a point and IA mates watch it. Mount & Blade has an order exactly for that
