How flame should work

Molotov rn are kinda useless
The adhesion to the flames should be area based, if you graze the flames you shouldn’t take full fire maybe take some damage and have a chance to shoot normally for like 10 seconds and then you you have to turn it off(which will require less time than the current one) or you will catch fire completely. If, on the other hand, you run into flames, it should be like before the patch

I very much disagree with you. Molotovs are still extremely powerful, even after this most recent change to fire damage. Both offense and defense can use them to very strong effect, especially by using grenade pouches with tons of them. They burn for a pretty long time and the pool they leave really isn’t very small.

Molotovs are very strong, tho I like the idea of them not instantly setting anyone in fire unless he gets hit directly with the molotov

Only this time I agree with GuardianReaper. Molotov is right performing just right now.

I don’t know if u see it but there is a video in the update thread and even posted on reddit that clearly show how they perform now, in term of game aesthetic is very ugly and no sense. You have very high flame that feels like they graze your neck but you can run throw them damage free.
Dosen’t make much sense.
Anyway, just like you said, the result of this fix is that people are gonna spam more molly.
In Berlin i have 3 molly for every soldier for every squad where i can because I find all the other grenade useless. I don’t usually spam them all…now i will.

*if you have seen it
