Sometiems I’ll have a whole squad on hte point for a long time and get 10 or 12 or 16… just now had a game where 1 guy walked onto it right at the end for a couple of seconds - and got 50…
Does anyone have any inkling how it works?

Maybe the points you see displayed on screen are just those for the guy you are controlling, but also other soldiers in your squad (AI) get some points. At least, this is what I hope when I cap with a full squad and get 15 points.

I think that the maximum total score that you can get is 50 points. If all your squad member capping the zone, the point will be distributed across all member, that’s why it doesn’t show 50 points anymore. but you still get 50 points if you check on the leaderboard.

The more team players are inside the point the less xp you make per capture.
Bots from your squad don’t count on the division, just unique soldiers from other squads.

Unfortunately no way to check that unless you are playing with someone and you are hte only ones on the point.
However not sure the math holds up - I got 33pts for capping just now - which would imply 1.5 player characters??!! 
Did you full cap it?
Did the other player present fully caped it too?
If not, on any of the above, ence said percentage.
I did fully cap it and was the only player on it for half or more - since I was also the only allied presence at all for most of it.
