I had 30 MG kills and didn’t get the best gunner reward and nobody else got it either. So how does this work? Maybe sb else also had 30 MG kills and that’s why nobody got the reward?

I read someone say that despite having the highest engineer score they did not get best engineer. So there’s definitely something odd about how it’s rewarded.
That’s why I preffer talking.

Ever notice how rare it is for someone to get best trooper when everyone uses troopers?
I usually get the “Best x” award when I manage to kill >10 people using one soldier. So it looks like the overall performance doesn’t count.
One Rambo soldier will get you the award, but a good strategy and using the right tools for the job won’t, eventhough your overall kill count will be higher.
This is why the “best trooper” award is so rare - because it’s not very likely that your one trooper will survive for long enough to get >10 kills in a single “life”.
P.S.: 10 kills is just an arbitrary number, IDK the actual math behind the award system, so this is all just speculation.

Maybe, but I don’t think so.
In the same match (invasion I guess?) I killed 15 dudes with my mortar and got the best mortarman. And I certainly didn’t have 10 killstreak with one guy.
But maybe with same guy’s multiple reincarnations? So at the end, that guy hand 10+ kills altogether.

That’s certainly possible. The air service Springfield seems to be a one-way ticket to best trooper due to its damage and mag size.
But I think it’s easy to get best bomber, so maybe there’s different weights to each.
