How do you use allies assaulters in Normandy?

I mostly use engineer squads with M2 carbines as my main squads, but once in a while I would like to have a change of scenary, that’s why I sometimes replace my engineer squads with assaulters. And when that happens, I usuaully use assaulter 1 with jump perks (jump height and speed) for a bit of spiderman-action with M3A1 with an impact 'nade as weapons of choice. It’s kinda fun build: using the grease gun to fight at mid to long range and throw impact 'nade at trouble (and blow myself up in the process) when I accidentally climb into a building full of German players.

My question are there any other interesting/fun build with any assaulters in allies Normandy? I want to try them with my friends for a bit of laugh and fun.

PS. I don’t care about winrate or K/D ratio, so any ineffective or hard-to-use but is very fun is also a fine suggestion.

idk what can make assault fun tbh since it just a smg guy to me but maybe use shotgun? i mean it the most alternative way i can think since anything else is smg

unless you play german and russian then it up to you to use shotgun or not

Simple, I don’t use non premium normandy allies assaulters XD

If you don’t have sten, you can try to max out the squad upgrades so you can max upgrade m3a1 grease guns to max, high damage with controllable rof.
If you really hate the grease gun, than you can try to skip using assaulters all together, once you get M2C its not a problem anymore.

m3a1s are highly overrated and i highly reccomend them.

as well as shotguns.

usually, i love to put speed perks ( such as sprint, speed of movements etc )

and run and gun the enemy with it.

additionally, another good smgs that is overshadowed is the lanchaster.

the best smg of the allies for accuracy and magazine count.
but, that’s up to you.

I have a squad with 4 Lanchesters 50 + engineer + radio-operator.

After the merge I will a have a second squad with 4 Thompsons M1921/28 + engineer + anti-tank from Tunisia.

M3 and m3a1 are good smgs. They are excellent at mid range.
I named them “fnab for allies”. They perform similar.
I also like to use fnab.
