Because T-50 rank one gold order tank that has no competition till lvl 37 Panzer III J1 
Pz4 can kill him even easily, the problem is the armor before the F1 you can sustain a single shot by soviet tank
It’s seriously the best option. Remember the t-50 can also be obtained from lvl 1, so don’t think you cheese your way ahead.
The 3b is surprisingly better vs infantry however, so keep that in mind (you can practice with the 3j in Stalingrad, it’s the first axis tank).
I don’t have any idea how to use a PZ III B but here’s something for the GrB

Hit the breasts or the waist
Do take note how far I am from the T-50, just use the size of the T-50 and try emulate the shot
