So, the way I found out about Enlisted was back in Year 7, around five years ago. I was really bored in maths class when one of my mates showed me a cool website with a bunch of really cool games like Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Enlisted. A couple of months later, I got it on my Xbox One—that’s it.”
I left WT because of my old laptop that couldn’t handle even the lowest graphics, so I went to H&G and had fun with my neighborhood and school friends (I was even still underage to use discord that time lol). Then after couple of months, I’ve decided to move on to Enlisted because most of my friends were moving to that game for no reason, and here I am, I guess.
I just saw a free to play WW2 game about four to four and a half years ago and thought, well, it can’t be good if it’s free, but I’m not out anything downloading it and trying it out. Then, I thought it was pretty good for being free and wondered how the hell they could make any money with a free game…Now, 70 premium squads and countless BP premium weapons later…I no longer wonder how they make money, I know…They prey on saps like me who have weak will power and nothing else to spend money on. ![]()
Fuck man that like 4000 grand AUD. You could buy a shit box of Facebook Market place for that much.
The reason is that I was looking for a free game featuring a large battlefield, and Enlisted perfectly meets my requirements
I saw the advertisement of this game on the Chinese server and found that it has many military occupations. Besides, I have always been fond of PVPVE and World War II-themed games. After playing it for a while, I discovered that it strikes a good balance between hardcore gameplay and entertainment, so I have stayed with it.
Saw some ads on youtube and my brother started playing it so i decided to give it a try. I joined just after Tunisia had been released and my first game was in reichchancellery conquest.
What does this mean? You started playing when you were 7 years old?
Randomly found it researching hell let loose or warthunder i think? Around 3 years ago. I can’t really remember.
Year 7 / grade 7 ,I was 13.
I don’t know what it is US dollars, but too much TBH
. Fortunately it’s spread throughout four plus years and a lot of those squads were bought while on sale, so not as bad as it could have been. It helps that I’m retired and don’t have much to spend my money on, and this is also a reason I get critical with Gaijin as I have donated a lot of money to their game and rarely see any responses to any requests.
Friend of mine was bored and told me lets try out the beta for warthunder with infantry.
He didn’t keep playing - I did.
Enlisted has the formula of old school shooters - fast one hit kills, big Battlefield like maps combined with AI and a squad system that reminds me of old Rainbow six.
Enlisted is definitely one of my favourite shooters I have ever played, despite its ups and downs.
I learned about this game from a video by a blogger. This guy did a lot to promote it.
Red Orchestra 2 playerbase dwindled, and Heroes & Generals died due to poor management practice.
Was sad about it and needed a replacement… found out about it from some yt add, the game had just exited closed beta testing.
I think I joined between a week and a month after the game became open to everyone.
Yes, I also really like the balance between realism and arcade mechanics in Enlisted. The project combines the best of both this worlds.
Although, over time, the developers began making the game more and more arcade-like, and realistic mechanics, in my opinion, began to feel very, very bad in this environment.
Easiest answer ever: Russian badger video.
His video make the game look super fun and tbh it is but only if the team are balance cause one sided match arent fun at all.
It was a bing win for Enlisted promotion to get that guy to showcase their game.
Badger is a big name in yt, for shooter games.
I was a long-time player of Heroes & Generals, also a German WHALE on there. I was in a clan, and a pretty veteran player on there. After the game shut down, simply moved onto the next shooter, which at the time was Enlisted. It was receiving pretty consistent updates, had a lot more content then H&G at the time, and so was a very natural move
