Personally I feel like it’s nice with how it is more of a pay once and you get all of these bonuses, HOWEVER. I kind of liked the grind of Enlisted, so I personally am not TOO big a fan of the x4 exp from Full Access. But I do like how the devs listened to the things people complained about so they did make it a bit better for the F2P players and gave them the PPSh squad everyone was not happy about being locked behind Full Access. Sure you don’t get an MKB or AVT, but with how Stalingrad is, I personally feel like Bolt-Actions and SMGs will rule the map. (Looking at you sniper lovers, go enjoy the buff.) Only thing I can really complain about is the balance of Stalingrad, I don’t know why but almost every game Stalingrad Allies just gets steamrolled by Axis, not to mention the increased concussion effect isn’t helping one bit.
I too kinda hate the x4 xp, x2 would have been perfect honestly, we don’t have a chance to enjoy each level as we breeze through them
Too few silver orders to equip even one side.
I got the pack on release and I generally have good things to say. I do agree with most that the 4X Exp is just too much
I would even go as far to say that BA rifles would rule Stalingrad, at least until the better automatics come into play, but even then they are just satisfying to use
Also i think allies will start to do better once they start figuring out better defensive tactics on the new maps, they are too new
for someone who liked all campaigns exept tunisia witch i hated after trying staligrad now i fucking like tunisia, the campaign is trash and favors the rich players i regret spending 70e sofar and feal BETRAYED.
“Full” access isn’t full, there are typical F2P convenience and cosmetic microtransactions on top of it. At least those are optional, but there’s also a paid squad that isn’t included and a battlepass which you still require. This also comes at the cost of progression being finally ruined for everyone.
At the same time the price is too high for this format. If all the other campaigns worked the same way, this game would have required $150. Lets compare it to the worst modern full price online FPS - Battlefield. Almost anything looks decent in comparison, except that the most basic edition costs “only” $60.
This is unacceptable. It’s just a bunch of tricks to make you feel like you’re getting more for less, while you’re being ripped off.
Sure the full access is convenient with the ease of grind but the problem is based on what I see, more people who bought the access play on the German side more than the Soviet side causing serious balance issues like why I get the worst teams more often while most of the paid players are stacking Germany.
Its going to be very lopsided towards Germany for awhile if more Germany mains bought full access more than Soviet mains might as well the likes of myself get Hero of the Soviet Union title for such a situation.
My 2 cents - I love the new campaign, Stalingrad has a great feel to it. Weirdly enough, my favorite part may be the new bolt-action mechanics - the rifles just sound and feel beautiful now.
I’m a little frustrated at just how much content is locked behind paywall. Things like the T-34, that were staples of battlefront, should be accessible by grinding. Not all of us live in high-income countries and can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on video games, but we should be able to pay $5, $10 and unlock at least some content without having to spurge for a premium account.
Also - and this has been a consistent issue across all of the campaigns - the uniforms continue to be just utterly disappointing, not least because the dev’s have shown they can make beautiful looking squads - but only for premium. You want fallschirjager? Italian uniforms? Female fighters? All premium. Unless you shell out for individual units (there are not even included in premium account!) - you’re stuck with the same 2-3 models for every squad, every campaign, even squads you slogged through 25 levels to unlock. It’s disappointing because there’s so much wasted potential. Not to mention - why no Romanian, Hungarian or Italian squads in Stalingrad?? It’s one thing to say you promised a third Russo-German campaign back when, but you couldn’t even include the variety that was there on the ground?
It’s a great update, I know the devs put a ton of work into it and I will certainly pay the hell out of it. In terms of monetization - I’m tempted to save my cash, because it’s clearly that whatever amount I was ready to spend - $10-$30 range - won’t unlock enough content to really be worthwhile.
Too fast progress, too few orders and those obscene overpriced customization monetization cast to me a very large shadow over an update that would otherwise be absolutely stunning.
I still have high hopes on the devs taking on these issues. The new bolt action mechanics though are absolutely gorgeous.
Yeah I’m still tryna learn the map and all, but it’s hard when 80% of the time we’re getting steamrolled by Axis and I can’t even have time to set up defenses
Actually I purchased the Full Access and really all it benefits is faster progression and locked levels, which doesn’t make TOO big a difference, I’m still kicking ass with bolt actions, and I only have a single SVT-38, which is all I need for mid-range combat.
Well the premium plane isn’t really anything to be mad about not having tbh, if you bought full access you’ll be able to get a much better bomber, which you will notice quite fast.
I’m not mad about anything, I’m just done giving them the benefit of the doubt. How much do they need to take away for you to no longer consider it full access? The way I see it, that’s exactly what they are trying to find out. It already costs more than a full price game and includes less, and it’s been getting progressively worse over time.
Less AIDS than in the “free” campaigns. At the only one gold squad (usually you alaways got four of them at the start) and skins and reroll is still gold. Still AIDS but at least 4star soldiers and guns, faster progress and 10 slots (plus minus flamer tank)
Thanks you this were exactly my thoughts. I think it is a shame, what they done here with Stalingrad and I feel betrayed for the 30€ I spend.
I really don’t think its as of a big deal as people are making out personally i don’t think its an issue at the end of the day people paid for the pleasure of having a x4 times xp boost. Its not a problem.
Considering only paying 30 for it you do get quite a lot of advantages from the full access pack. Two premium tanks, extra slots, x4 times xp gain, almost fully upgraded weapons and cheaper weapon upgrades.
Why are you comparing it to other campaigns when it’s fundametally different from them? In this format it should be compared to pay to play games. So-called “AAA” games cost $60. Smaller games cost $40, older ones are about $25. Here we get a broken game with one campaign out of five costing $30.
You’d have to look very hard to find a pay to play game that doesn’t appear superior to Enlisted in content and value for its price. Darkflow were able to avoid this comparison by being actually free to play. That’s over now, can’t put the toothpaste back into the tube. Don’t know if that’s just me, but now I look at previous campaigns through that lense and they look awful.
I wasn’t ? I was simply stating what you get if you pay the 30 euros, may i ask how is that comparing Stalingrad too other campaigns ? Please don’t try and make out I’m trying to say a certain thing when I am obviously not
Have a nice day sir :3
I did not buyed these package, because I’m again the monetization of single aspects of the game. I buy sometimes premium or the battlepass, and know they want again money for units/ weapons they cut out of the standard content. This is what I can not accept. If people want there boost or special weapons, ok. But making things like a shotgun pay-content is the wrong way.
