No one cares about 0,01% who plays shitty on purpose.
They dont mainly influence the game (and never should).
Yeah And I am pretty sure we will do that the next three years without getting a lot of big maps or map reworks beyond moving hills down a bit.
Yeah because flanking doesnt work with greyzones and only dumbasses get their 8,8cm cannon disabled by a 37mm cannon.

I’d rather play a historically accurate matchup than have everything in game be 1:1

Most people dont which is why there will be better cb settings eventually.
In your logic anyone who isn’t a meta power creeper and only use the best most strongest stuff and armed to the teeth is shitty
Now before we devolve into an endless debate, do not misunderstand me, obviously there is nothing wrong with any piece of content in this game ranging from the M2 carbine to FG42 to even eventually the Maus.
I just mean that the kinds of player who think you must only play the most uber super effective ways. It’s like lots of people shit on bolt actions

The BR system will be hilariously bad IMO, but WCYD. Especially if they do the “you only count the highest BR” - so, a single personal gun is equal to a fully loaded tank/plane?
All we need is to merge the playerbase and no longer allow queueing in TWELVE separate queues (just do Axis vs Allies at most), perhaps keep the tech tree (to avoid researching same weapons 10 times over), merge the inventories of each nation, but keep the per-campaign theme/loadout. And reverse the power creep, where every single campaign ended up with same handful of viable weapons/vehicles (ZH-29/AVT-40 fiesta and the like)

Apparently not following the Twitch streamer meta is “shitty”, got it

Dude. You refuse to put engineers in your non-engineer squads. Is that also BR whoring now if you just wanna build rallies outside of one squad?
Thats called mix of choice of freedom and competition. That was, is and will always be the result.
Nah. Lets just give soldiers no perks, no backpacks and put no engineers in other squads so you can build rallies and ammo boxes. Or fill your tanker squads with the entire crew to make the tank functional.
Because everything else is meta shitty I guess. Because even basic spirit of competition and development is bad.
Like I’ve said I prefer each squad type having a distinct role. But I also said that ironically around the same time we got into that debate I was considering making exceptions here and there. At this point in time for the foreseeable future I would say no, but that may change in future
I prefer my soldiers not zooming around like super men, healing in milliseconds, and jumping like kangaroos. I prefer a more rugged experience
I have thought about backpacks in general being overhauled. Maybe instead of all these various types just have a single backpack BUT you get to choose what to use that space on. Maybe you fill it completely with medkits, or maybe a few extra grenades, or some magazines, or any combination
Or maybe instead of explicit backpacks we could have some sort of weight or inventory system and we choose what to bring.

But doesn’t that prove my point about the dynamics of vehicle combat. That a lighter vehicle has its roles in the battle and can use different strategies and tactics, such as disabling
No. You can also just destroy the tank. Shorter and dead tank usually stays dead. More efficient, simply better.
You mean flanking? Again, doesnt work.
Infantry fighting? Yeah, low splash cannons and forced to be close to CPs which is like begging for getting Fausted.
8,8cm does more dmg and splash and most people are smart enough to camp in greyzones.
“Disabling” only works with stupid tankers and is more time consuming than just using a better tank like everyone else.

Which is why the engineer squads also have only one engineer because more engineers would be meta whoring.
May flip coins.
Yes but that’s not the end all be all of gameplay. Yes obviously your goal is to take out the tank but disabling is a part of that. There have been many times I’ve disabled enemy tracks. Point is destroy, disable, whatever do what you must do
Damage is damage, otherwise we might as well not have any other vehicles in game besides super heavies.
And as I say I focus on the job. I find people shouldn’t be OCD about taking damage. It all depends on the flow of battle. If I’m guarding a point I’m gonna guard that point, charging along infantry, whatever
Obviously that doesn’t mean I’m like oh yes kill me. Just that a soldiers gotta do the soldiers job
I will say I don’t really ever encounter “gray zone campers”. In my experience most vehicles aren’t that too far out of reach. In fact I’d say it’s only specific maps.
Even then your tanks and planes can counter them. Even I have suggested Heavy AA guns that could act has high velocity AT guns, perfect for fighting tanks at long ranges
proof?
because safe bet from me i see someone really likes to spout nonsense with no foundation.
and just to reiterate, i don’t consider them superior.
they ARE superior to smg in the long range.
( d u h )
perhaps not so much in cqcs for many members.
or i’d say, fine weapons that many level minded averange users of this game aren’t able to use.
there really isn’t much to discuss when it comes to the balancing.
and it’s not really about subjective matter.
beside that;
^
somewhat does it.
we don’t really know much about it.
and what we do, is a spreasheet few months old which looked somewhat fine for the majority and that’s what matters i believe.
baseless speculations serves no purpose.
so we just need to wait and try out ( if there is one ) test server of said br.

Bolt actions, semi, SMGs, Assault rifles, MGs, auto rifles, etc
All have their place in game

And the tech tree from the last test server.

In the real Enlisted world, we only have heavies and meds. Lights are only used by newbies and the 0,01-2%. They only serve as filler for the grind.
Except thats not how you use tanks. Tanks are ranged weapons usually starting at 200m excluding maybe flamer tanks. Lights mostly existed for “flanking” and reconnaisse jobs, which all doesnt work in Enlisted. Tanks in close quarter in real life usually die pretty fast and so do they in the game.
Everyone who uses tanks differently is a moron and deserved the nuke pack under his ass.
Then whats the point of lights against if everything else is better than them in any regards and they cant make use of speed because flanking only works in conquest at best most people also dont like.

which was still incomplete
What proves my point about BR being convoluted is whether or not you think there should be an independent British faction
Do you think a British faction armed primarily with bolt actions, having no real assault or semi auto rifles, and probably just the Bren as their only infantry MG, should be fighting the Germans armed with a wide assortment of weapons
