Darkflow, your players are antsy but for good reasons. We have been bashed with monthly long events for what, six months in a row? We only now got a breather and it does feel good for it.
However, I liked most of those events and the squads they can offer to the new merge system.
Speaking of the merge - take your time making sure it is developed as flawless as you can get it internally. Once it reaches that point of release, how about you combine that aspect of the update to the said update that is going to take Enlisted out from the Open Beta umbrella?
Players can wait for a longer period of time, but a few things need to happen for (us) all now.
Redefine the road map on where the new best estimate for the merge update. (For a good base line, try to not make it more than a three month period from now). I am sure a planned topic about this is most likely in the works, so I can have the patience for this point.
- I remember seeing a lot of talk about a giant weapon animation overhaul for months.
If you have to delay the merge for lets say 30+ days, please find a way to release this fully, and if most guns arenβt done, then you can sprinkle the rest of them in smaller MEABP updates.
I only give that point because maybe that new Pacific map is around the corner, sure, but only a specific campaign will get to experience that content if that is ALL what this major update should be. Having that animation pass, regardless of how much has been done, should buy some breathing time (not much) until more of the focus can go straight to the merges.
Am I in the wrong for not wanting Darkflow to rush a CORE FUNDEMENTAL CHANGE?
