Horrifying confession

I like the MP 28
I just think it’s neat and looks nice.

MP 34 too.

right. forgot about japanese.

still…

a bit sad that i can’t play moscow, tunisia berlin nor stalingrad without an mp34…

Agree, good gun.
At least for eyes.

Japanese mp28 with 50 bullets is the way.

Meanwhile, Moscow beretta…

Simple explanation.
Onry glorious Nippon steel can stendo a horizontal mag that far without warping.

I genuinely like the thing, thought. It’s honestly a very good smg. Problem is everyone BELIEVES that USA equipment is VASTLY superior, so nobody plays Japan as a result… When in truth, Japanese equipment is not bad at all.

Hopefully it won’t be like Tunisia and population will switch sides eventually.

Might happen if they make an event where you get a free Japanese squad (like in Normandy with silenced mp40)

We will see 🤷

dont like either
mp34 has 3 horns
if you move and aim
you can confound which horn is the true sight.

mp28 with 20 bullets is SHIT.
mp28 with 50 bullets. well i dont use it
I stick to type100.

either way slow rate of fire on both

they should not paywalled the type 1 smg
but the type 2 experimental one.

:sob:

Both were experimental, the Type 2 has spotty instances of recorded usage, the Type 1 does not.

didnt know that, thank you
i thought the type 1 was the standard :kissing:

Japanese doctrine had no place for SMGs to begin with.
They had a handful of MP 34s for experimentation but nothing standard issue.

They had the Type 100 as early as 1940 and were using Sig M1920s (the 50 round SMG) about the same time they were using the MP 34, the MP 34 and Sig M1920 were both mostly used by the Navy in China along with the Type 2. As for the early Type 100, the Army could have started deploying them as early as 1940 but waited until 1942 to start issuing them whatsoever.

I like it too, it’s neat and it’s really good, it’s amazingly accurate as well.

I don’t get why the description is wrong - it says it has fire selector, yet the MP 28 has only full auto.
I’d consider it to be a very worthwhile weapon if it REALLY had fire selector. Magazine size is a flaw, but it can be alleviated with it.
