Better. Still way too many edits, especially for an instructional/tutorial video, but definitelly an improvement on the previous one.
As I understand it, this is a special marketing technology aimed at a young audience: fast cuts, weird humor, cringe.
Back in my day it was different. You kill a buffalo, take out it’s bladder, dry it up, stretch it over the frame - and there you have your windows. And a mouse was just a mouse. Men were men! Women were women! Ducks were ducks, but that’s beside the point!
Now they talk about this different kind of windows and mice… I don’t like it, this is dangerous.
Would love to see your videos so I can learn from the pros!
Dude, I’m a software engineer, and when people complain my code doesn’t work right, I don’t tell them: “would love to see your implementation of a nosql database engine so I can learn from the pros”.
The video was created with a primary intention of getting subscribers and revenue (let’s be honest). I watched the video, that makes me a consumer. As a consumer, I’m expressing my views on the product.
nice video.
i would, avoid sharing the stabing friendly spawnpoints… would probably be a troll move even on good spawnpoints just because…
Hi, this one was useful and good, thank you for creating it! Did not know about the possibility to look around while running, and some other stuff.
Regarding the video critics section: the first edit with the little girl and the last one on many clicks to disassemble was all right for me, rest felt unnecessary, but that’s just my opinion, it’s not breaking the flow too much. Thank you for not including twisted selfies this time.
I wasn’t being sarcastic. I figured with all your insight you must be an editor and so I was hoping you would drop a link to your content in hopes I could learn something. Also code that functions and opinions on videos are vastly different IMO.
Cheers!
Oh, come on now
Both are a product of it’s creator imagination - my code solves some problem, like making persistent connections. Your videos (well, this one in particular) solves a problem where new players don’t really know what to do with their engineers. We both use tools to help us achieve our goals. I’d say there are more similarities than there are differences, honestly.
I realize I come off arrogant in my first reply to you, because, let’s face it, I was. But I never said the video was bad - the points you are making in it are solid. The editing is not to my taste, and I’m genuinely glad to see it’s toned down substantially compared to the first video.
Well the nature of the video isn’t changed because of the suggestions I received. You see these are two totally different types of videos. The first one is meant to entertain and the second one is meant to teach. I don’t think it makes sense to do fast cuts and memes when I’m teaching.
