Hopefully - a fix to some tank problems?

WT has been testing a new system to replace the much hated “hull break” for lightly armoured vehicles - hopefully it is an improvement - the testing has been a bit mixed - some strange effects reported, but mostly on vehicles that won’t be in Enlisted and hopefully will get sorted out soon too…

But will it actually do any good with the Puma?
Maybe where HEAT is involved.

No. The only real solution for the issues with the armor models is for the armor models to be converted to volumetric, or to have Enlisted go back to the non-volumetric shells.

These HE changes wont fix random non-penetrations, or random bounces.

Sounds like it will fix HEAT overpenetration, which is one thing I’ve encountered with the Puma.

I don’t think volumetric armor is the problem with puma

Now it’s been a long time since I’ve played WT but I don’t remember Puma being indestructible

I remember armored cars absorbing every shot into their wheels and having no consequence for wheel damage, but that’s it.

Joe is ready for the HEAT buff.

Managed to OHK a Puma at 120m as well.

I managed to kill one with several PIAT hits - killed a couple of crew, then got the transmission, then finally killed it… pretty rare tho
