This would only require the devs to create seperate “target locations” for each soldier, then an UI that dynamicly allows you to select nearby target locations. +1

Sounds like a good idea controlling our AI teammate and assign them to do something (defend something to say the least)
Maybe when you stop controlling a unit, have the option for that specific soldier to stay where you last controlled him?
