Why not carry a radio, along with a long weapon and double the ammunition for that weapon? This doesn’t make sense.

It should be the same as any other specialist and fill the secondary weapon slot. Medics have their box, AT guys have the AT weapon, Engineers have their hammer and Radio Operators should have their Radio in the secondary weapon slot.

Perhaps the radio box should be fixed in the position of the communication soldier’s secondary weapon, leaving space for the backpack and equipping a large ammunition belt.
