Honor mechanics

I saw many MOBA games with a way to honor top players.

Also I saw many aces in Enlisted those pushed games from the lose to the win.

Yes, we have medals for the best performace, but sometimes we have kinda really all sided players but they weren’t first in every aspect since they tried to do everything, not focusing on something specific.

My idea is to give players ability to decide who need to receive the honor.

And for those honorable players - they will receive some xp/silver bonus based on amount of honors. (somewhere between 10-50 per honor)

This also could be an additional motivation for players to be more productive.

Yes, let’s allow players in 4 stacks to boost each other’s income.

Yes because 4 stacks are totally a problem in every game.

Just make it so there’s a cooldown when you award someone so you can only award the same player once per day or few days. Easiest fix ever.

For how much? Divide 200 silver between 4 ppl?

Meanwhile if you are lucky ace - you can litteraly get 1500-2000 silver per match by your own hands… and get some nice bonus of 300-400 silver by receiving those honors from the team.

Plus, if you so concerned regarding coop boost - that could be fixed by simple honor button being disabled nearby coop member icon.

Doesn’t really matter.

The point is that this is a completely unnecessary feature that could be very easily abused.

As well as easily fixed by

A nice idea. An honor system would indeed be nice - I’d like to reward my teammates that accomplished something useful for the team.

Of course, as others have said, it would need to have some restrictions to prevent abuse, which will complicate it.

Please first display the number of times the player’s resurrection point is used, the number of team matches, the number of matches on each server, the number of times each BR participates in the match, the number of times the player joins the battle midway, the number of times the player joins the battle midway and wins, and the game time using the vehicle in the personal data statistics.
The above will not be abused.

Then I hope to include the statistics of the medals earned by players participating in the Halloween event into the ordinary season pass. For example, I can only expect to accumulate 190 merit points in this season of the season pass, instead of 240/300.
To complete the 30-level Halloween season pass, you need to consume gold coins and a lot of time.

Finally, I think hard-working players may not care about tiny extra rewards(200 coins for 4 players).
Although, now we have a mechanism to reward players for various works.
But, in reality, a large number of players refuse and resist to do them.
They don’t care about these extra rewards, and they won’t work hard for these weak rewards.
Unless these behaviors are counted, displayed, and allowed to show off to others.

ps: Or add some valuable achievements: For example: In a battle, you are the only one who built a resurrection point, and your record ranks in the top three, and you win in the end; For example: Your resurrection point (built by you) is destroyed by the enemy more than 10 times in a battle; For example: The player destroys 1,000 resurrection points built by the enemy in a battle; For example: The player achieves a 70% win rate in single-player battles; The player achieves a 90% win rate in team battles。

I don’t think the top players on either side would care much about the tiny rewards.
They might prefer to blacklist some of their teammates.
Or curse them.

Okay, that would solve one problem. (Maybe) I think people would find a ways how to abuse this system. Or otherwise benefit from it. Like, for example, with the implementation of the ranking system. When players started instantly deserting just because their team didn’t have as many yellow stars as the enemy team. And then this whole ranking gimmick system was redesigned into complete irrelevancy.

Plus you don’t even see nicknames above your teammates’ soldiers. So you’d constantly have to analyze the killfeed or look up that player via replay after the match ends (a decent bizarreness).

I just don’t understand why developers should waste developer resources for similar gimmick systems/features that are not essential for the game. And could be potentially just ranking system 2.0.

Just add an option to abstain from voting. Not to mention the possible benefits from such a system far outweigh the tiny minority of people who will both find a way to abuse it and actively do so.

This honour system doesnt appear to display anything, its not a rank system. Its purely to give rewards to players who deserve it.

You could also encourage voting by giving players a tooltip of the person who build the rally their spawning at, whos APC is it, you could even have a screen like in Isonzo/Verdun where it lists off about 60 separate achievements, like who got the longest range shot, who sat in one place the longest, who ran the most distance, who got the most melee kills.

(Not mine) but the Isonzo stat screen, this one is per person but there is one that all players can see that just includes the awards given in the forms of the medals at the top of the screen.

Its insanely hard to find screenshots of that and I cba to boot it up and play a match just to show it. Just know it would list off about 60 different awards and then highlight your name for the ones you won. This screen would flash up for about 5 seconds, you could then go back and look at it if you wanted.
