I feel like I’ve been granted handicapped squads, everything from lack of antitank, meaning engineers valuable but die too easily. No smokes to deploy for my assaulters, no ap mines to lay traps…
It’s like you have been given a Ferrari but can only do 30mph, this event has just brought me frustration, bad pilots trying to bomb, but bombing way behind marked targets, no fighters to shoot enemy bomber down.
Over use of AA guns like MG Nests, saw 6 in one game, it spoils immersion…
I am still top 1% but that really is not the point, this event is quite frustrating, also please stop squads joining event games and steamrolling others… surely no groups whilst in event is fair?
Discuss openly, I felt a bit like ranting today, as my recent squads wow painful to watch!!!
Yeah this event feels like AA spam, and maybe trying to get vehicle to get easy top score.
Two of my best games i was eating and driving a tank, playing infantry is pointless.
it’s supposed to aim for being somewhat realistic ( in not having too many automatic weapons ) and you actually have to outsmart your opponent as the equipment is somewhat… " balanced ".
never had so much fun in an event.
although, players being players ( some individuals ) still kinda makes the experience a bit unenjoyable for some people playing in certain ways.
i noticed how boring the game would be for me if i used that weapons and squads. and or if it was historical accurate.
flametrowers are cancer tho.
I wonder about some squads and classes chosen. And also wonder how a mp28 is a fair match against Thompsons or lanchesters.
Still, I didn’t enjoyed it, nor had time to play it, nor I could care much about the experience since I wasn’t enjoying the squads or weapons choosen to play with.
Still a nice step on improving the events even if I didn’t personally enjoy the weapons or squads.
Also, consider removing the time to play it and I would suggest in a number of batles per day per user basis.
19 batles, 177 position that could be easily placed top list if I had the time to play 21 more just by quick Maths… But even the permanent rewards this time make me care even less about it.
But after one battle i get metric SHT tone of EXP for my squads so for example: Engineers lvl 1 at Stalingrad, fully upgraded after one lost battle. So i guess its not that bad after all XD. Without mentioning that my performance was really bad after few beers XD
I saw insane amount of retards who join event which’s supposed to be competitive and then write something like “just a game” or flying a plane all game bombing something outside of the map and ending match with like 0 kills.
Like, what’s the point? Being a dick? You can do that irl every day, no need to continue being it in game.
