Ho-Ni II (Type 91 105 mm howitzer)

Overview
The Type 1 Ho-Ni II was a variant of the Ho-Ni series equipped with a Type 91 105 mm howitzer. It featured a slightly modified superstructure, particularly around the side armor layout, with repositioned observation ports. The gun had limited horizontal traverse (about 10 degrees to either side) and a maximum elevation of 22 degrees, restricted by recoil constraints. A prototype was completed in July 1942, with production starting in 1943. In total, 54 units were built.

Since War Thunder is adding Ho-Ni II for the next major update, maybe Enlisted could also get it as well in the near future please DF?

so 120mm for the heat round. shame no stats on the he round but im pretty majority of that is made up by war thunder regardless.

Here’s the HE round. You can probably punch in some numbers on some blast yield calculators and get an idea for how deadly it’ll be.

so thats slightly more tnt than the m4 105 so it should be like 28-29mm of pen. for comparison chi ha short gun has 31.4mm of pen. Im unsure what the reload will be given that while this is open topped and a field gun, its 2-3kg heavier than the chi ha short gun round

Guess we’ll have to wait and see once it’s on warthunder to get an idea of the loading speed, plus when we add the loader bonus skill in enlisted.
