it could be added when we click on the campaign to play, 2 lines of text explaining its history in the Second World War, a bit of flavor does not hurt since all the squads of the game have it
Very important especially Moscow and Berlin campaigns to tell the history why those battles are important in the war not just the usual North Africa and Normandy stuff that more people know about.
Not to harsh your mellow, but I am pretty sure people on the whole know the significance of “Russia’s capital” and “Germany’s capital” more than they do Tunisia. Honestly, I really hope they do.
Having a bit of historical context in game would be nice regardless. Its a historical game, it should have at least some discussion of history, even if its very brief.
The problem is how to explain what happened in Operation Barbarossa and what led to this desperate situation to the Soviets with the Germans approaching Moscow rapidly in 1941. In Berlin’s case, a background about Stalingrad and Kursk would be needed on how the Soviets got to this point of the war since Operation Bagration with all the tactics and lessons learned from those past battles.
Hearts of Iron IV’s rendition of Katyusha did a good job on telling the story of the entire war for the Soviets without any form of text, just the dynamic rendition of the song with stages telling certain points of the war.
Yea they could just do CTRL + C from their official site
