This probably is the reason why HA players get theyr custom games.
It’s easy
All europe looks like moscow, so, if i get a moscow is2 or tiger, it’s like
Im playing in a east europe map
Man, is there a daily quota where people need to confuse historical accuracy with gameplay setting or sth.?
And I had to laugh when to comes to WP, explosive and auto spam because this has been suggested to be reduce for the sake of reducing meta spam but people didnt like it either, except WP. Gun jam could have also solved auto spam.
And now just try to blame it for historical accuracy just warms my heart.
Except why shouldnt it happen?
Because Keofox said it?
What?
The devs can promise anything and do the opposite then.
They can, if they do, i will just stop playing. Simple.
Don’t ya know the snail moves slow?
you missed the point, he’s mocking people who are upset about this proposed update removing ‘historical accuracy’ or ‘realism’ or whatever
They can if the eula who all of us accepted before play grant them this freedom, is legal, they can even delete all premium squad if they want
They basically removed SG access. They can really do whatever they want.
stalingrad access didn’t have a long life you knew how it would end even if they didn’t change the grind it would have been removed because of the false closed levels
Ir people get 4x speed for all trees…
they haven’t done anything yet. wait for future communications
Yeah. After two years of broken MG bipods they can suddenly create a proper MM.
they are two different things
It shouldn’t be too difficult to realise that there are levels of accuracy - it’s not just a binary choice.
A video game on on console or PC is supposed to be fun and cannot be truly realistic. If it was, you’d be diving for cover every time someone shot at you on screen. So let’s not say ASBOLUTE historical accuracy can be achieved, but let’s say that REASONABLE historical accuracy can be achieved.
What does this mean? Well, you amend a sight picture a little bit to make it easier for players to shoot. You give all soldiers the chance to use a weapon that was maybe only made for a select few. in real life. You add a tank in a campaign for balancing reasons where its use is questionable to say the least, but at the end of the day, a Panzer IV is a Panzer IV. What Enlisted has done up to now is not ABSOLUTELY historically accurate, but it is REASONABLY historically accurate within the confines of a FPS console/PC video game.
I would say, however, that Tigers in 1940 or something like that is just too much and is no longer REASONABLY historically accurate. Just as I cannot watch a 1960s WW2 film in which every German soldier has an MP40 and never runs out of ammo without laughing.
The solution? Have only generic maps that could be battlefields at multiple points in the war. A French map that could be 1940 or 44, so all equipment is allowed. A Russian map that is 1941 or 1943. A Tunisian map in the desert and we don’t know the exact year. A bombed city that could be Berlin, but which could also be another urban centre at another time of the war.
Solves the problem. Nobody likes the D-Day map anyway.
Nobody likes any one-sided maps
While I cant agree more with theyr incapability to get things right.
I still think the MM is first good news in past few years.
