One annoying and atrocious things apart of this game is the killcam Highlighting, the fact when you kill a player, not AI, they see exactly whereabouts you are. Now, with this information, they can just shoot you even though previously, they had zero ideas of your whereabouts. I mean the fact is it just ridiculous to even implement this into a game, don’t even get me started on the ‘just move’ when I’m indoors and im hiding and kill someone as they push up the stairs, they now know exactly where I am. This then allows them to go full gun blazing on me. Or when I’m a sniper sitting somewhat back picking the opposing side of, now they know exactly where I am and can’t do shit.
When someone is camping the stairs, I through a grenade, kill cam does not matter.
Just move

Yeah I think that’s the purpose behind the kill cam … Devs dont want you camping …
When bullets have tracers like laser pointers and you already have an army of fodder/ spares following you around a kill cam is pretty unessisary and invites an immediate reaction, telling someone to ‘just move’ when they’ve only just dropped one guy and 6 more are now laser focused on their position doesn’t exactly solve anything.
I think it might also have to do with sound as well. In a realistic environment you would pick up on directional sound to tell you where the shot or shots came from. To simulate that and other environmental clues in game they use the kill cam.
To an extent, but the sound environment is already pretty detailed and environmental detail is pretty high too, terrain deformation imported from WT means snow and grass gets flattened as you move and ive even noticed snowy boot prints when you go indoors. But then details are details and i dont think it really justifies a highlighted kill cam. Honestly? I would be perfectly happy with the kill cam with just the highlight removed, it still shows the direction the shot came from but otherwise you actually have to pay attention.
This thread needs bumping. This is a huge issue with this game.
Not really, seems to work as intended. Not a lot of campers, good action and most people finally seem to get objective minded. If you promote camping again you will have 2-3 ppl do it every single game. Which means 20-33% of your team not pushing the objective. Which is fine if we where all gods in this game and the campers get 600 kills. But you know as well as I do, that will not happen on average. So then we would be 1 month back in time when 1 or 2 people in a game push the objective and the rest looks over their shoulder thinking they are helping.
