In all seriousness, I really hope we can get the mp41 as a regular unlock. They have given us weapons that are premium in other campaigns (FNAB, G41, Berreta 1918).

Can’t wait to fight 3 assault squads fully equipped with ppsh 41 with my MP 40. 
Cmon dude MP40 is an amazing gun. Off course not as good, but it can compete.
I personally love it and cannot wait to get it and fight in Stalingrad with it. (Not sarcasm)
PPsh 41 has basically 2x fire rate or more, no recoil, 2x mag size and like it seems really less random bullet deviation. Ofc german MP’s can be fun but going in the ring against someone triple the weight mostly works out worse for you.
Unpopular opinion here:
I dont care that much about repeat unlocks. I care more about the maps, gameplay of the campaign, new mechanics.
Personally i will be using my K98ks MP40s MG34s/42s, FmWs till the end and as long as i play the campaign. Just like in moscow. I enjoy historical accuracy in my squads.
If the maps are good (Grain elevator, factories, central district, pitomnik airfield with new dark sewers to navigate and flank around) i will be happy.
I want stalingrad, but im not sure i want it more than pacific. Was really looking forward to using an M1A1 thompson or M2 flamethrower against the japs in Okinawa.
Guess it should release with a launch out of OBT and into steam

Actually they have more recoil. The higher ROF means more recoil and harder to control. Im not arguing that PPSH is worse. Its clearly better, but the MP40 can compete and it may be personal preference but i find that gun a lot better lookin than a PPSH

It can compete in Normandy and Tunisia. No chance in Berlin and Moscow, this’ll be the same.
Very mid tier gun. Much worse than PPD and worlds below the PPSh.

You know that whoever shoots first in a low TTK game is most likely the winner. So if you play dumb, then yes you will lose. But if you make sure that you outsmart them and get the first shots, youre most likely to win.

You can shoot 2nd with a PPD and win no problem.
You also have a much better chance against multiple enemies (you know, squad system and all that).
The difference is very much there.
Aim punch exists and the MP40 needs 2 shots to down. So if he shoots first youre reaction has to be inhuman or be extremely lucky to hit him in the head
And it’s more noticable on soviet smgs.
As does the PPD. It simply just shoots 2x as fast.
So I guess I have inhuman reaction speed? Strange, as I don’t see myself as being too above avrage.
