You can shoot 2nd with a PPD and win no problem.
You also have a much better chance against multiple enemies (you know, squad system and all that).
The difference is very much there.
Aim punch exists and the MP40 needs 2 shots to down. So if he shoots first youre reaction has to be inhuman or be extremely lucky to hit him in the head
And it’s more noticable on soviet smgs.
As does the PPD. It simply just shoots 2x as fast.
So I guess I have inhuman reaction speed? Strange, as I don’t see myself as being too above avrage.

I felt sorry for the German soldiers in WWII who used MP40s they must yave gotten tired of using them over and over despite how gpod they wers
You can add PPSh box mag in Stalingrad considering its already available from 1942 onwards
