Is there any way to obtain the tiger through the chests? either gold or silver ones
Its an event vehicle so it is avilable in both just very rare as it shares the same loot pool as all the 10+ Ha-go reskins etc.
So unless you get really lucky with the odd chest for each 7 day milestone you realisticly wont get it until the boxes are returned (and the gatch gods dont feel like screwing you over) with millions of silver to spare.
It’s an event vehicle if I remember rightly. I’m not sure if it’s in the loot boxes though, but I’d expect it to be. Silver or gold though? That’s anyone’s guess.

iirc all event vehicles should be obtainable from silver boxes(probably gold also), just that your chances are extremely slim. there is something like 1% or 2% chance for getting vehicles from silver boxes and if you dont have many vehicles from old BP/events then getting japanese tiger E is something like 1:10000 chance.

I got it from silver chests during the last period of availability so, assuming they don’t change anything, it is possible.
It is basically impossible to get if you missed the event since it is in the same loot pool as all the old battlepass tank skins. You will most likely just get a bf 109 with slightly different paint job

The gold is better, 5% from the gold and 2% from the silver
gold chests have 5% of getting vehicle, silver chest have 2% of getting vehicle. there are loads of vehicles, so that chance is further divided by number of vehicles you dont have. so if there are 50 vehicles you dont have there is 1:1000 chance of getting specific vehicle in golden chest and 1:2500 chance for silver chest. if there are 100, then chances are 1:2000 for gold and 1:5000 for silver and you arent guaranteed to get it even if you buy 2000 or 5000 chests.
if you want it translated into $ you need to be willing to spend ~6000$ to get tiger no6 if you are missing 100 vehicles(could be way more) or 25 million silver.
