I propose to add heavy mortars as an engineer structure.
At the moment, mortar squads lack their own structures that can be used to destroy the enemy (excluding the donation squad for the USSR with the SVT-40 (AG)).
Introducing a heavy mortar, for example a 120 mm one, would give them real tactical value: the ability to shell fortifications, concentrations of enemies, and vehicles at long distances.

(12 cm GrW 42) is a German heavy mortar of World War II, created as a response to the highly effective Soviet 120 mm PM-38 mortar.
The Germans first encountered this weapon in 1941, were impressed by its range and firepower, and soon developed their own model, essentially repeating the design of the Soviet prototype.

PM-43
DESCRIPTION
The PM-43 is a Soviet heavy 120 mm mortar adopted in 1943. It was used for infantry support and could destroy cover, suppress machine guns, and cause strong fragmentation damage.
The mortar consisted of a barrel, bipod, and large baseplate. Thanks to its wheeled carriage, it could be transported and deployed quickly.
The PM-43 was known for high reliability, simplicity of construction, and powerful shells that could reach distances of 5–6 km. It was actively used at the end of World War II and remained in service in other countries for a long time.

The Type 2 120 mm is a Japanese heavy mortar of World War II, adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1942. It was created based on the French Brandt 120 mm mortar, which Japan acquired before the war and used as a reference.
The mortar was intended to support infantry with powerful high-angle fire and served as a heavy battalion/regimental mortar, similar to the Soviet PM-38/43 and the German GrW 42.
