I played 1 or 2 games in the open test and closed, one thing i have noticed is the HE is too weak, it feels as if grenades are far more effective. I needed to hit a infantry man head on to kill, the blast on the floor couldn’t kill him. Let me know if you agree.
The ba-11 HE is good but the pz-3 HE is what needs a serious buff. Also I smacked a guy in the chest with my pz-3 APHE and all I got was a “Hit”. Wasn’t downed, he still kept walking like nothing ever happened.
The gun caliber is small for example the Pzr III is a 37mm so the HE round is small. The gun was designed for the anti-tank role BUT I do believe the HE round needs a buff.

only thing on the tank that kills is the mg and there isn’t enough ammo. also, how do you resupply tanks?
HE on pz3 definitely needs a buff and the BA-10 seems really hard to kill while the pz3 is very easy for some reason, even tho pz3 has more armour
The only way to kill tanks right now is ammo detonation (very rare) or knocking out all crew. The crew on the pz3 is close toghetter, the ba-11 has them far apart. Neither has enough armor for armor to matter but because of the space, the ba-11s crew is never dying in 1 shot.
he shell should be at least 2x more powerful then hand grenades and that’s being modest.
Totally agree. HE rounds should have a larger blast radius, around the same of not slightly larger than grenades.
The grenades have more explosive filler than the HE shell though. So while it does need a buff, it should still remain smaller than the grenade blast

For sure, I was trying to kill like 6 guys located in one tight area and shot an HE shell, and only one of them died, then I shot at the ground near them, (hoping for explosive damage) and nothing happened.

I even remember on berlin test the tiger HE having the same issues… and thats a 88mm shell
I believe ALL vehicle (tank in this case) dynamics need more work… vision, armour behaviour, shell penetration/explosion radius, disabling the crew and modules… I agree that the only workable weapon on German tanks atm is MG and as soon as you are out of ammo-you are a joke as Darff Wader said above ^^^
I never had any problems getting kills as a tanker.
I would even say, the fact that I can regularly spam all my ammo until I have nothing left and then still can get roadkills by driving right through the enemy lines without being killed, shows that the anti-tank capabilities of infantry is too limited and needs to be improved.
The question is - are you playing Russia (whose HE is fine) or Germany (whose HE is too weak)

I agree that the 37mm HE-shell performance is a bit underwhelming, but I have to disagree to everyone that says tanks are too weak or “a joke” as many ppl in this thread want to imply.
Everytime I am in a tank I get many easy kills, the only thing that is a bit difficult is driving the tanks, as they feel clunky and the vision is limited. But in my opinion that is fine, since tanks are supposed to be clunky.
After getting used to the controlls, it isn’t that hard to operate a tank and tanks have a great influence on the outcome of the match
Have you ever checked for the ammount of bots (people with less than 3 kills per squad death) on your matches? as if you play against a few players, they are almost guaranteed to bring out explosive packs and AT rifles to take you out really fast.
