Update: the news article has updated, and some keys should be mentioned:
“You will also gain the ability to sell unneeded weapons and dismiss soldiers to get even more bronze orders.”

“Unspent orders and weapon parts will be compensated - by additional bronze weapon and soldier orders credited to your account.”

The myth is, how much will they compensate? Like what if 1->3 ratio? But what if dismiss weapons/soldiers only get 1 tickets at a time.

My personal strategy here is: spend most of bronze weapon tickets to get enough amount of AVS/ZH29/FG42 to equip every active soldiers. Then stop.
Spend enough bronze soldier tickets to get enough infantry, and other key roles for possible upcoming squads (infantry soldier are very needed but too expensive if they are the same price of other soldiers). Then stop.
Wait for those left tickets to be compensate.
Also use academy to merge those roles dont need that much, like pilots/tanker/flamethrowers.

After seeing the news of progression system changes. All of my friends decide to empty all bronze tickets.

I am going to leave only dozens bronze tickets, while spend ~50 bronze weapon/soldier tickets for each side.

Also, since they also cancelling retraining point, dont forget to use it (for 4/5 stars soldiers. For lower stars soldiers just keep them and probably after the update they will able to level up with bronze tickets)

should be cancelled.
And currently, the only way to get pistols/axe (except from drops) are via bronze tickets.

What? After the update, every new soldiers/weapons can only be obtained via silver/gold tickets. Bronze no longer can get anythings. Only for upgrades.

Especially if those upgrades will cost 10 cards or more.
We have no idea how economy will look like so zeroing your bronze is a bit of a gamble imo.

Do you know even if you spend bronze tickets for weapons. 1 tickets-> 1 weapons.
But after the update, you can dismantle weapon for bronze orders.
The minimum unit is 1. So in the worst case, you can get 1 bronze ticket back.

The most problem is actually: do we need so many extra soldiers?
In the future, you can transfer weapons.
But soldiers… We dont need tons of them to level up.
Also this pretty break the game of giving so many reserve soldier slots. That’s one of the selling point of premium account.

True, maybe those upgrades will be changed to give lesser soldier upgrade cost or sth like that.

Iirc soldier upgrade orders do NOT increase a soldier’s rank, they just instantly fill an “empty star”.

Am I wrong?

yes, only fill a star. Not level up the total stars.
Devs need fix this mess call sign.

I won’t spend them just because.

Infact, I don’t need nothing on current campaigns to spend them either way…

Sure. But I already have so much repeated items and I don’t even spend bronze as much now…

Not sure If I m even interested in sell beyond my repeated items.
Current items take no inv space, I don’t mind them there.

I, for one, am hurrying to reach lvl 7 with Russians in Berlin before the update, so I can still spam bronze to get enough semiauto rifles to upgrade most or all of my riflemen, while later I would have to use silver.

i think we do, so when switching squads, you don’t have to waste time by filling back and forth soldiers from squads to other squads.

again, i think in that way, you will be able to fill all squads. previously, was very hard to have all squads slot and level most of them.

i would assume that the devs have enough data to know how many orders each account is spending to get to lvl 5 soldiers or max upgraded weapons.

To say the devs will just remove the use of bronze orders without changing how much an upgrade costs is more than naive.

I am actually more convinced that KEEPING your bronze orders will be soooo much more important!

So go farm and get yourself 500 bronze orders fast, so we will be able to get max soldiers and max guns fast when the africa update hits.

I Fully agree.

There is not a single reason to spend even common bronze orders just because.

It’s a gamble befor the update.

I rather, and advice, everyone to save them and use them only when needed.

They as far as I understand, will be used to upgrade stuff/swapping gear from diferent campaigns. That alone it’s more than a reason to keep bronze orders and not spend them as a retard.

got lots of weapons ( mostly silver orders ) and so few troops cards.

i guess i’ll have to sell some tanks or something on the black market.
