Hardcore LF goes too far (team chat, score counter, loot display)

  • Disabling team chat is a terrible idea, especially in a game where nobody really does voice. If you are trying to stay hardcore, fine! Make everyone’s text chat proximity-based, except for vehicles and radiomen who gets a full-map channel because they have radios.
    • CAS players still need to have a way to spam out “need enemy coordinates”, so take that into consideration too.
  • Team score counter should be put on the HUD. Having a sense of urgency is not a feature that kills realism, but enhances it. Same for capture point.
  • Killfeed is a matter of personal taste. It honestly does not provide much superpower, so I would love to keep it on.
  • Loot should be identifiable, as mentioned in https://forum.enlisted.net/t/topic/16906. Being able to see a gun and pick it up is a natural thing, not a super-power provided by the HUD.

Hardcore really shouldn’t change too much of the game except remove the “superpowers”. In this game I believe the normal mode has already come close, and the only things to remove are the ammo count indicator and TK protection. This current hardcore mode is unnecessarily difficult.

Figured that my complaints are quite similar to that of "hardcore" ruined lone fighters gamemode, bring back the old lone fighters as a seperate gamemode!. I guess they are right in that medkits count as a superpower too.
