- Disabling team chat is a terrible idea, especially in a game where nobody really does voice. If you are trying to stay hardcore, fine! Make everyone’s text chat proximity-based, except for vehicles and radiomen who gets a full-map channel because they have radios.
- CAS players still need to have a way to spam out “need enemy coordinates”, so take that into consideration too.
- Team score counter should be put on the HUD. Having a sense of urgency is not a feature that kills realism, but enhances it. Same for capture point.
- Killfeed is a matter of personal taste. It honestly does not provide much superpower, so I would love to keep it on.
- Loot should be identifiable, as mentioned in https://forum.enlisted.net/t/topic/16906. Being able to see a gun and pick it up is a natural thing, not a super-power provided by the HUD.
Hardcore really shouldn’t change too much of the game except remove the “superpowers”. In this game I believe the normal mode has already come close, and the only things to remove are the ammo count indicator and TK protection. This current hardcore mode is unnecessarily difficult.
