Nothing happened.
Since the usual update time has passed again and there has be no reply, no teaser, does this mean it will be left out? No halloween event this year? I would have even taken the zombies mode again, with maybe some weapon skins as rewards instead of new weapons even…
Enlisted developers you have a Halloween event every year, if you then suddenly decide to stop with Halloween events then at least have the decency to announce this to your players.
Remember: decency, it is a human thing that costs you nothing and gains you a lot.
I don’t know, I think I read something about the Sherman event getting extended an extra day to continue into today (From @iso_seppo123 I think?). I can’t check myself as I’m away from my console, but assuming that’s correct, it looks like tomorrow it would be announced, if it will happen. I’d say hold hope till then, then if nothing still, it’ll most likely not happen at all.
I don’t like the Halloween themed gun and tank skins, but I was hoping this year they might do better, I guess not.
Either there wont be a event or they just did not want to make teasers this year. We will see tomorrow when the sherman event ends
Maybe they just want to surprise us. Did you ever think about that? It’s not Halloween yet, so maybe we should just wait and see. If we don’t get one, I’m actually OK with that as well—given that the last two events have been somewhat lackluster.
I wouldn’t mind either of the two previous zombie events either. They were both pretty good. Since most people seemed to enjoy these previous events (and it would save the developers time from creating a new one), it would make sense to use them again. Also, the “Mech” event from a few years ago was also well put together—I wouldn’t mind seeing that again, as well.
No Halloween event = no danger of yet more BS cosmetics in the main game.

It’s what I don’t like about here. They leave everything to the last minute. Usually other games tell you a day or two before an event starts. Even the smaller events. You can’t really prepare for them. You either see it on the Forum or log in and get told “Hey, we have an event!”.
They could do something really fun and sneaky by hiding ghosts or foo-fighters in the normal maps as halloween easter eggs. Maybe add a chance to hear some creepy radio chatter on rally points or something.
To be fair it’s not Halloween yet, Halloween is on October 31st
But we usually get a teaser before Halloween though.
