- Yes, for all fitting soldiers
- Yes, but for an event/premium squad only
- No, do not add them at all
Japanese customization is currently very lackluster compared to other factions. I propose adding hachimakis to the regular customization pool for all JP soldiers to increase the variety of cosmetics they have to choose from. These headbands were worn to protect the wearer from sweat and also as a symbol of luck/fortune.
This would provide unique, historical flair and also strengthen faction identity.
Brief video going over Hachimakis for those interested in a more thorough history lesson

Hachimaki headbands have been used by the people of Japan long before the war, and long after the war. Comparing it to fascist symbolism is both culturally ignorant and culturally insensitive. I understand you are being a shithead on purpose, but perhaps you can use this as a moment to learn something new about foreign culture.

I care absolutely zero about anything remotely related to the imperial japanese… however i will acknowledge yes that is insensitive.
But then again… id say using such symbol in your war opens it up the the comparison… the swastika was also a cultural symbol used before and… if you want to consider nazi extremists a part then after the war as well… and i want to correlate that to what you said but it’s not the same and its connotations probably have zero similarities… so perhaps i will take up your offer and watch the video.
Just watch the 4 minute video provided and you’ll understand it was never used as a symbol of hatred at any point throughout its history
