After every battle you would get a parachute drop animation and a single gun part. Magazine, receiver, sites, stock or barrel in a given material. you unlock all colors received for that model weapon but can choose which color from unlocked options what metal and wood finishes you want.
Metal finishes for larger parts like the barrel and receiver. Would be limited to muted natural colors like rust, blued, gun metal . while smaller metal parts could be bronze or brass but not silver and gold, chrome or other flashy metalic colors.
Stocks and grip could have red, blonde, black brown and everything in the spectrum as long as it fits it sits. the idea is to provide customization. you can receiver any weapon only the chances vary by both br and rarity. from br1 tech tree to br5 premium if you are willing to fight hundreds of battle to fit a squad of 4 assaulters with 4 premium smgs.
Maybe even a way of meaningful vehicle customization including added payloads and increased armor. i would love to see an up armored grant fighting in br3 or up gunned without a turret look up fake fame grant with a 90 mm gun.
I would rather add anything then the cold war with ak47’s manpads and claymores. better sites or longer mags anything is better than helicopters and under barrel grenade launchers. yes i want the hate i know no one on this forum will have one good thing to say.
maybe even Camo drops like sherman turret Camo, side Camo, top front and back once you have all the piece you have a Camo for that tank. the only way to get the drop is to finish a match from joining to the end of the match.
maybe even cammo parts for soldiers and guns like helmet, sleeve right left and pants leg right and left. easy to add content one skin can be applied to a hundred guns or uniforms or tanks. its an relatively easy way to generate a huge amount of content. a way to generate money or play time.
A lack of content and a lack of means to acquire any content outside the tech tree without paying. leads to player droughts when a no new content is added b between events and c when the event contains nothing players want. 
Imagine slowly creating a cadre of squads uk or us in the camo you want with the guns you want. how much would you play and pay to be able to do that. no cod skins no cod guns with crazy scopes but maybe swapping the site of one ww2 gun with another. take that sexy garand to br4 with a extended mag. 
No we do not need ever gun to have a rifle stock and red dot scopes would make me throw up. i dont want gold barrels or pink stocks but having every garand be brown is beige. just like the fg42 is a rifleman’s weapon id like to see the war we could have had.

Well, we already have some anime like red oxidetad steel pps-42 and tokarev pistol.
I would say that it would be a cool April fools/Halloween game mode, but for the main game mode it will require some merge-like amount of actions those probably wont worth it.
Wait a minute, there are also Zombie guns, so I guess, since we already there - nothing prevent us from having more anime stuff…
