The sniper mkb has a rpm of 650 whilst the standard version has a rpm of 500. This makes no sense as putting a scope on a gun shouldn’t make it shoot faster.
This would also make the sniper variant more unique as it would have a different rpm to the sniper stg.
It’s already unique in that it has a different scope with a rather small magnification.
Many people like it over the Sniper STG because it’s actually better for short-mid range.
I am pretty sure many will be against this suggestion (it is not the first time this incoherency was pointed out) regardless of the different rpm making no sense.
The scope is not very usable with it’s current high rpm as the gun tilts back too far. Not to mention if it has a unique rpm will only make it more unique and may qualify it to be downtired to br4.
That’s your opinion, but I have to disagree here, I consider that the scope is much more comfortable to use because I much prefer the smaller size of it compared to the sniper STG.
I doubt this is gonna happen, I have seen countless suggestions regarding MkB-42 and Hörn STG, and as of now only the STG-45 has been moved down quite some times ago.
Some (half) factions are missing sniper rifle with full auto ability at BR5, I doubt one of these would ever make it to BR5.
But that’s beside the point because the mkb would be better with a lower rpm and it would make sense and be more historically accurate.

it already is super easy to use and with a lower rof it will be even worse than it is now
It having its current rpm is a mistake that needs to be rectified not taken advantage of by players. The gun shouldn’t fire at 650rpm, if it had it’s actual rpm then it could be downtiered and players would have a totally unique gun to use instead of the reskin that it’s is currently.
Mkb42(H) getting moved to BR4 has been suggested countless times and will happen eventually, StG45 has already been lowered to BR4.
The only reason I see why anyone would want to nerf scoped Mkb42(H) is to push that to BR4 as well, which would I guess make sense from a diversity perspective, but it would be powercreep as hell compared to scoped G43, scoped SVT40 and M1C Garand.
I know it does not make sense this way, but its actually more balanced this way and many people like this gun over scoped StG44 which we shouldnt take away from them.
If the sniper variant was the same as the normal version and both were br4 why would the sniper version be powecreep and the normal version not be powecreep?
because no other faction has anything similar.
At least on BR5 there is scoped AVS and US could get a scoped M2 carbine.
Scoped mkb42 would just turn German BR4 snipers into assaulters, which is powercreeping, at least for that BR though they are obviously going to be cooked against SF rifles in uptier.

Also sniper STG and MkB are ass, too innacurate with no one tap potental. Bad sniper imo.
