Guns rework for the new BR system

With new BR system there is no point to balance guns by their level. So AVS can get back its enormous recoil and receive low BR (just an example).
Additionally, there are some some gameplay and graphics improvements, so I split suggestion into 3 parts.

Part 1 “Gun stats”:

  1. Bolt actions rpm - there is literally no reason why Mosin 1907 has rpm of 42 and type 38 - 72. To make thing even worse straight-pull Ross rifle has rpm of 60.
    Therefore suggestion: make all classic bolt-actions rpm in range 48-52, straight-pull - 70.
    RPM still can be increased with perk and gun upgrade.

  2. Reload speed - same reload time for Kriegsmodell (5 rounds) and Lee-Enfield (10 rounds) also makes no sense.
    Suggestion - make reload time for all guns of the same class almost identical:
    Prepare time - 1-1.2s
    1 round - 0.6s
    Clip - 1-1.2s
    Post time - 1-1.2s
    Additional suggestion - semi-auto guns that were reloaded with stripper clips should be reloaded with stripper clips (Gewehr, SVT, AVS etc.)

  3. Recoil - AVS and SVT has almost identical recoil stats, but for some reason in game AVS has much less recoil.
    Suggestion 1 - display actual recoil in game
    Suggestion 2 - give guns of the same category recoil close to each other (and ROF as well, difference between MP38 and MP40 is ridiculous)

Part 2 “Gun behavior”:

  1. Realistic recoil in exchange for dispersion:
  • Blowback-operated gun’s barrel should go down before each shot (heavy bolt moving forward)
  • Horizontal recoil should be more unpredictable
  • Rear and front sights should become unaligned under recoil
  1. Aim stability:
    Right now there is gun sway in aim, but it is very low and can be noticed only on snipers with good magnification.
    Suggestion: increase weapon sway drastically and make it depends on gun weight (carbines and SMG easy to aim, LMG and ATR - hard)
    Aim stability should be achieved by:
  • Holding breath or crouching: -50% (together -75%)
  • Proning or mounting gun: -100% (Mounting should be improved, right now it is unstable)

Part 3 “Visual behavior” (optional):

  • Gun position in scope - for all guns player should see whole receiver group unzoomed and top part of it zoomed.
  • Gases in exchange for flash - let it be simple 2d sprites but not this ridiculously bright flash
  • Remove tracers option
  • Animate strikers for bolt actions and hammers for pistols
  • Shell should be ejected AFTER chamber is opened, not BEFORE. Shells going through gun look ridiculous.

Not only we will get massive game overhaul, but You want to add even more shit to change.
Same shit with all those BIG updates, mostly add few nice feature but then slaughter something else that was working fine, and then we have scramble to release 10 small update fixes just to get rid of some bugs meanwhile community starts to forget about those issues (maybe that intended)

Also some of those suggestions just don’t make sense

Just make all guns same with diffrent skins like cs go yeah nice

Yeah, let’s get rid of variety. Make everything basically the same with just different textures.

Almost same != identical
Slight difference in 0.2 of a second is good, but when 2 same guns without any upgrades or perks have a difference in reload of 30% that doesn’t called “uniqueness”, this is called garbage balance.
And even with identical reload speed (which is not what I’m suggested) guns will have slightly different recoil and different sights.

It’s called asymmetrical balance. If concept like this isn’t something you like, I don’t know why are you even playing enlisted.

I guess all tanks should be just silly boxes with same stats to satisfy your “proper balance” need.

Thats why PPSh-41 with drum mag and MP40 SHOULD have different recoil, dmg, reload etc.
But MP38 and MP40 shouldn’t have so different stats, because it is the same gun. Like 2-5% difference is ok, but not 70%!!!

Battlefield is a game you chose to play.

Nah, some factions should have disadvantages in whole branch. For especially this faction is good with tanks, but lacks good planes etc.
That’s what makes games like enlisted interesting.

I like mp40 more than ppsh, such a high firerate is useless. Waste of ammo and you starts only with 2 mags. There’s no reason ppsh should have terrible recoil tho.

There’s no point to have 2 same f2p basic weapons for the same faction with just different texture.

And thats not what I’m suggesting.

That’s why MP40 should be SLIGHTLY better than MP38. But for some reason MP38 is 70% more accurate than MP40 right now.

If no, why are you suggesting it?

They should ged rid of dispersion. Thats way bigger negative than recoil or reload time.
Weapons with high dispersion are just lame lottery.

Btw. You are acting like recoil is somewhat huge in real life or what. Current implementation of recoil in game is pretty okay.

Because your request is much beyond why others like play Enlisted.
You seek a "balance game " but reason we like Enlisted is “unbalance”

It would be way better to remove killcam instead of tracers lol. Tracars are very good game mechanic of which smart players can take advantage of. Killcam is just meh.
