Grinding before merge

So i just get to lvl 39 in axis moscow and i wanna start grinding berlin, is it worth to grinding before the merge ?
because from what i see in merge topic it say we gonna have limit to what we have in previous campaign

yes it is worth grinding cause you wont need to grind that stuff that you already grinded after the merge. considering you finished axis moscow, i would recommend you take soviets (be ready for lot of frustrations in berlin) or allies normandy to get best toys from all factions.

Not if you want to grind allies, its not worth the pain if you are’nt good enough to solo carry a team 1v10

So its worth, is there a campaign with a lot of people in the both side?, because i already been through hell as axis moscow

Maybe you should try the Pacific it’s getting hot over there.

Yes, its completly worth it

also i reccomend you reach a limit (like tiger) to grind another campaing, if you find interesting another side/campaing

That is true but the Pacific is a new campaign and any new changes will probably end up in the Pacific in the near future.

I usually just take a good look at the progresion, find something(s) and go chase that. I’d say don’t take our words for it though we all value different things, go find what you want and play some games see if you like the maps and gear enough to play another couple hundred games there.

think it is not worth it to grind germans berlin/normandy when you already have half of the max tech tree in moscow. you will need lots of time to grind up to tiger (well berlin is faster than normandy) with lots of stuff repeating or being in same rank as what you already grinded in moscow.

so if you want to main germans, then go for berlin. if you want to maximize number of grinded equipment then go for new faction. currently allies normandy is in good condition compared to axis, soviet berlin can be played, but axis have advantage so be prepared for suffering.

if you are satisfied with low/mid equipment then you can farm bots on allies tunisia or you can play moscow allies that have advantage over axis.

if you want, Go stalingrad and get mp717 (it will be deleted post merge)
(you can transfer your moscow weapons to stalingrad)

Depends what your endgame is

  • do you want to main a faction or spread it out and enjoy all on offer?
  • do you have a period or campaign you intend to play mostly? (BR deck build)

I dunno about normandy, because i play it 2 times and in entire match i have no clue what iam doing, the map so wide, not long like moscow so its very confuse me, you guys give me really good advice,i really appreciate it, i will try and see whats fun or suit me

For example I really like early - mid war, I will intend on playing with Panzer IIS - Panzers IIIs/IVS. (not much in berlin that applies to me…even though I have already fully unlocked)

So I am making sure I collect every squad/weapon/vehicle available that I think will be about this BR (early-mid war). So Italian gear, and every tank up to Panzer f2. (its a guess at this point what BR will be applied to what gear but performance is a pretty good indicator)

but if your intention is to save yourself grind later or play High BR (end war gear), you will want to do berlin to get as high up in the tech tree as possible.

also Stalingrad and pacific gives you some cheap gear (1 silver pistols) and 4 star troops and weapons (unless that doesnt apply to f2p)

That isn’t true at all, Axis Moscow and Axis Berlin are radically different with very few duplicated gear.
K98K, Mp40, Mp35, Mg34 are not that many and the rest are all better gear that would be probably be harder to grind after the merge.

Its allies that aren’t worth to grind if you have Moscow maxed because you already have Ppsh41, AVS-36 and Federov. Unless you want to get that new IS-2, but there is literally no way for a casual to grind that from scratch under the remaining BP time.

maybe i will grind berlin and stalingrad, like your suggestion because i dont want to grind more later, its feel like eternity, thanks for the info and suggestion, i really appreciate it

and how much time is left till merge? month or two? idk how much he plays or if he is f2p or has premium/battlepass. but if he is f2p he will not be even close to grinding out the berlin axis for any meaningful gear. that is why i think it is better to grind another faction to maximize xp usage pre merge. this is not about duplicate gear or is it worth to grind it, but about maximizing xp usage pre merge.
