I don’t want “new shiny”. I don’t want to “waste” grind to get a crap.
Never mind, I’m in clear minority so I give up.
Who would have thought that they actually made it extremely slow and frustrating on purpose to frustrate you into paying money to unlock stuff directly?
if the time is “watsed” then change campaign or side since you need soemhting to look forward to
Grind and hard ? in Enlisted ? Have you ever played WT or similar game where it takes a good player 1+ year to unlock top tier ? I am playing Enlisted as all games F2P since it is F2P and I am in fear that there is only 26 levels… I mean you can unlock top end levels under 2 months probably if you have the time for it.

No it really is, I just made a post about this where I did the math and my estimation is 300-370 hours for a decent player to complete one faction on one campaign.
If you grind properly in WT, only playing 1 nation as well, top tier is only like a month or two of grind. Enlisted isn’t much better as “top tier” also includes maxed out soldiers and weapons here, not just campaign level.
Do the math on upgrading guns to max level, as well as maxed out infantry. It’s worse.

It really isn’t.
If you have time to play 10 hours a day that’s great, but for people with actual jobs and a life, this may come as a surprise, but time to game isn’t all that common.
Just like how if you got an actual life, you can’t get max level within a month for Enlisted either.
The grind is easier here though.
I got to lvl 16, halfway to 17 with germany on Normandy, 7 with US, 7 on moscow with germany and russia.
And that’s only with a premium account and playing 1-2 hours a day, sometimes 3-4 hours on weekends. No premium squads used, so it’s not too bad here. There’s a ways to go before it reaches how bad WT is.

yeah for sure, it’s probably even worse, I’m just talking campaign progression.
I did some calculation, if i get 2000xp a match, and i play 10 matches a day, which translate to roughly 2 hours a day, it will take me over 4 months to finish a single faction in a campaign.
On the other hand, if you get 10k xp a match and play 10 matches for about 2 hours each day, it will take you a little less than a month to finish a single faction in a single campaign.
Yeah, when I first unlocked the rifle grenade I was meh, but I have grown to love it, wish I had one for every trooper.
Yeap , but it will broke their system, who would want useless sniper 2 when they can get sniper 3.
Many features to grind are just pointless fillers, xp boost , unlockin upgrades, reserve side…
60 h of gameplay and am on lvl 14 battle of Moscow… Not gonna waste my time with this trash.
Its not problem to pay for somthing like a escape from tarkov, or battelfield 1 or 5… but the problem is paying for someting made by gajin. They on purpose make grinding in game hard as hell to force you spending your money. Eventualy, grinding become less problematic because they get used to fix any problem by forcing you to pay more and more. Thats why there is no more space on my SSD for War thunder.
Yeah, in BF you can unlock everything in 2 weeks, after you payed 70$. Then you pay another 50$ to unlock 4 more weapons / 2 vehicles from a DLC. Or you get a “season pass” and keep unlocking few weapons. If you are at least decent - there is no progression on the game. On top of that, all BFs since 3rd one have the same “development” cycle, where every weapon in the game is “balanced” to a point that everyone just use one assault rifle or one MG. BF series was the biggest waste of money for me. Paying 100$ to enjoy it for a month and then never come back? I could have years of premium in WT instead.
Well, not true, bf 5 you could find for less than 30$ and no exrtra pay for DLC.
Right now? Yes, not on release. You can get Bad Company for like 2$, means nothing.
