We all know how gaijin works and wt grind is proof to that.
Combining everything under faction bubles is more practical but grind will be much worse.
We were unlocking same stuff in campaigns but now we might have to grind for 1 week to just collect enough silver to buy a single stg 44.
You can always buy progress in exchange for money, what’s your problem? I don’t get it.
Maybe, but if this is true I am sure the community frustration could catalyze some change. I don’t think we need to discuss grind problems yet for a very WIP system that is far from being released.
i can finnaly avoid grinding for shit i dont want like a gl kar98k at level 35 or a mortar at level 38, and finnaly decide what i want, when i want.
and they, can finnaly add way more content without one need to grind 214825 campaign levels to unlock.
and since silver wont be a thing… i guess this is more of a win to the players
And, if it is implemented poorly and everyone hates it then people will stop playing. The outcome would be the same if they don’t change it.
like everything in life. atleast, they have tried.
if they failed. and “if the outcome was the same” , at-least, they tried
Enlisted’s grind before was worse than WT, so I don’t know what you’re talking about
Maybe this will be a good change. Like - more available weapons and vehicles. In Moscow there is an IL-2 - the one with the rockets… but he is not present in the Stalingrad. Same with the Stuka - in Tunisia there is only one Ju-87 (the one with 500 kg bomb).
Maybe now all these weapons and vehicles will be somewhat organized.
il2 is present in stalingrad just cant be equiped
was probably upcoming content …
but ye… i do agree with you . one can use content on other fronts… for once i will use zk383 on stalingrad/moscow maps. thats cool
Maybe they realised they allready fu*** up balance enough with KV1 ans T34s
future content did appear alot of times before in the logistics tab
this is just another example
Silver will change name and face and will still be there.
I know I’m repeating myself across different threads, but this is my main matter of concern and I want to spread awareness among fellow players, who appear to be worried mainly about the future of progression and historical accuracy:
Those are legitimate worries, but what we should be concerned the most is the ECONOMY overhaul.
Because I can grant you that, game currency wise, the current economy is quite generous for a F2P.
- Decent earnings (you generally earn enough currency to more or less keep up with progression, unless you really waste orders on junk)
- Battle Pass gives great value for a relatively low expense.
- Most importantly, no matter how bad you play or how poorly a match goes, YOU CAN’T GO PASSIVE.
The latter in particular could become a game breaker, should they choose to go full WT and add arbitrary currency sinks everywhere.
Fully agreed.
Just accepting everything without asking questions is just beyond stupid… because devs were smart enough to show a draft of where we are headed EXACTLY for players to ask questions and voice concerns…
So devs take notice, and adjust stuff to sell a better game.
There’s many questions, concerns to be heard, and it’s good to talk about right now, when devs actively collect data to create the upcoming Q&A.
Blindly accepting the draft without questions is:

Short: now is the time to question and think, ready for Q&A.
It’s pretty much that. “Be a good yes man”.
Makes no much sense however, especially for the devs. Waiting until the product is released to ask questions?
That’s way too costly for them, especially if it turns out to be a failure…
Heck it’s even why I created a completely neutral post suggesting them to create polls.
So they’d really know what’s going on…
Imagine most people of the few ehm “antis” are just trolls and sarcastic and mean Germano-Canadian meanies… which why we still care for them and even do entire meetings for them instead of just ignoring them?
Does it make sense? Because then you could explain it to me
Hey, Keofox is just the community manager. Do not expect such unrealistic things sich as knowing the own community or not blaming the own community for (reaction on) mistakes committed by himself and the devs.
It is.
Takes roughly 900 hours to finish air and ground forces for a nation in WT (American). Takes 500 hours to finish one faction (2 per campaign) in Enlisted.
Enlisted is almost 2 years old and takes about 6000 hours to complete the game.
America is one of the larger nations, so it takes longer than others (Germany and Soviet are larger)
So if every nation was like America, it would take 9000 hours to complete the game.
War Thunder is 10 years old.
By the time Enlisted is War Thunder’s age, the grind would’ve been 30000 hours.
That is insane
I think something’s off with your math.
Anyway, my experience is that quitting WT to jump into Enlisted was definitely a change for the better.
