At the moment, there exists a grace period of time before a cap gets unlocked and ready to be captured… but only in the “tug of war” mode. It’s not present in invasion mode…
What happens when I attack in invasion, is oftentimes I’m in the next cap zone BEFORE the defense team, and start capturing it…
Yes it may be because I know map layouts and such, but what I would propose would be:
- The grey zone for the attacking team does not automatically disappear as soon as a cap is captured, instead giving a bit of time for defense to prepare.
In similar fashion we could ask that the grey zone appears faster for the defense team after a cap is lost, so the defense would backtrack faster.
