I just don’t get how the devs even dared to release this loot box. Are they really that broke they can barely make ends meet? Two hundred ninety-nine gold—how on earth did you come up with that number? I’m supposed to blow nearly 300 gold on some garbage item with an abysmally low drop rate. Why wouldn’t I just spend that money on a better dinner instead? I wouldn’t hold this loot box in such contempt if you’d at least added a pity system. Or slash the cost to 10 gold per pull. That way, even free-to-play players could earn five pulls just by grinding through an entire season.

As I just said in the post you responded to me in which you can read again, options are being discussed based on the feedback.
I am not going to “make up” an answer for what we’re doing in response, we are waiting for confirmation first, THEN we will talk about it here or on a separate post.
We plan to do another SITREP after this major - this major update and the last in terms of getting most things ready had quite a small gap (2 months) relatively speaking, so focusing on this major, dev blogs and new things (and so on) was the main idea since they were coming thick and fast. Just some critical bugs and issues were left over from the test server to fix before the major releases.
This is also one of the things being planned to address now with developers - will comment more when everything is concrete.

Well, another disappointment. I get that you guys need cash for keeping the whole op running but this not the way.
Like other said, separate the boxes - make some guarantees, pity system or such.
Also cosmetics should be separate.

Major, after a cosmetic is recieved from the box, you get one copy, right? And after that you can buy it in the shop. But will you be able to buy it for appearance orders? If no, then will they cosmetic bought be able to used on the same soldier for all campaigns, without paying for each setting?

You wrote it well, at least five moves even for people who don’t have money for gold but can make at least five moves for playing the season, it seems like a lot to me, 300 gold will reach a maximum of a few thousand players who have money because they don’t know what they are doing or don’t have to earn money at work and have everything for free. I myself am already losing enough gold almost every month, but now I won’t give chests anymore
It’s never enough to just hear about good plans.
It’s not as if the things mentioned in the previous sitrep have been implemented in the game since then. But who cares about such an insignificant detail.
