Bit of a clickbait title, but it has a lot of feedback and my opinions on how to make these actually useful. What do you think? Did I miss out anything?

my biggest grip about gold order soldier is that… you get them quickly, which it’s a good thing, but what i hate is that… those guys does not come with the ability to get secondaries or backpack slots as those are locked because you have to grind the base squad like a normal trooper.
that’s… the most stupidest thing.
but, i think it’s good that they start from 0. so that you can select what you want them to do.
other issue is, those guys cost 730/(750) gold for just an icon and 5 stars with not even the max points as you correctly mentioned.

but i’m glad more people like you talk about and " revives " this subject. and( hopefully ) devs will do something about it.

there should be retraining points available to these soldiers… overall retraining points should return imo

Like Erika said for me it depends on their type. Is are cool, but IIs and IIIs suck because I usually dont use them apart from engineer squads (and even then I dont buy new tier soldiers and just recycle the new ones in the squad).

meme aside, this is one of the reasons why i never used a gold order, they give you things that are not in the least comparable with what you get just playing, i could understand if they were collectible but they are not, let’s take gold soldiers as an example that are sold in starter packs as if they are “incredibly useful”, as erika says they are not, they are normal soldiers with an icon, if they came with the ability to use secondary weapons, ammopouch and that a 20/20/20 skill points they would be useful in some way
well while i agree with most points, i dont agree with speed of earning bronze orders as above average f2p player. usually i earn around 2-3 bronze troop orders so i need around 30-50 battles to max out one t3 soldier. gold troop orders are somewhat worthwhile for f2p players cause of bronze orders (although i would like more bronze weapons orders)
My only big issue with gold order soldiers is that they don’t come with maxed perk points. They would end up being thrown into the reserve even if they were unique. When you get a gold order vehicle or weapon, it’s what you want, no RNG involved.
