in WW1 they had some pretty cool armor
while maybe not making it like modern body armor it could add a lot to customization

Would enjoy that as an April 1st event. Wouldn’t like it as the main game. Just because there’s a handful of examples, doesn’t mean 10% of a match should be melee bros

the trouble is most of those are hardcore sims, look we don’t want impressed the game of feudal combat, and its all for fun
Mad Jack as a gold order and he comes with a bow and sword is a must.
Tbh I’d recomend you to play mount&blade if you want a big scale medieval game with (decent) AI.
Enlisted is gun focused and making a melee system from scratch is a huge resource drain.
